Keshia Knight Pulliam and Ed Hartwell’s nasty split has been a tabloid hot topic for months, especially since the former couple keep hurling damaging accusations at each other. Now, there’s another bit of drama to add to the mix because Pulliam is reportedly threatening to put Hartwell in jail if he doesn’t take a paternity test to prove he’s the father of her unborn daughter, Ella Grace.
As previously reported, Hartwell decided to file for divorce from Pulliam in July, after only six months of marriage to the former “Cosby Show” star. Although Pulliam claims that she nearly left Hartwell several months ago because of his alleged infidelity, Hartwell claims that he’s not sure that he’s the only man that Pulliam was sleeping with and he demanded that she take a paternity test to prove that her unborn baby is his.
However, in an ironic twist, Hartwell had a change of heart and decided that he didn’t want a paternity test done. Instead, Pulliam became the one who wanted to have the paternity test done and the court has agreed that paternity needs to be established.
According to sources, Pulliam has already submitted her DNA sample, which was court ordered, for examination. However, Hartwell missed his deadline for a DNA sample submission and Pulliam is reportedly upset about it.
Sources say that Pulliam wants the judge in their divorce case to find Hartwell in contempt and place him in jail until he finally agrees to comply and give a DNA sample.
According to the sources, Pulliam is still worried about Hartwell’s alleged temper and his gun collection. Pulliam and Hartwell previously had guns registered together but she now wants the judge to order Hartwell to register them in his name only. She also wants the judge to order Hartwell to pay half her moving fees and her household bills as well from the house they previously shared.
Well, it doesn’t look like this divorce drama is going to get cleared up any time soon. What do you think of the latest update? Let us know in the comments.
