Bishop Eddie L. Long, 63, pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Georgia, died on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at around 3 a.m. EST.
He had a short battle with an aggressive cancer.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 25 at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, 6400 Woodrow Rd. in Lithonia, Georgia.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Jan. 24, at the church, according to Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory, which is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that any floral arrangements be in white or off-white.
