A simple trip to a Walmart in Centerton, Arkansas resulted in a racist tirade by a White woman against two women of color. Eva Hicks posted a video to Facebook of an encounter she had with an as of yet unidentified White woman. Hicks was reportedly trying to pick up her medication at the pharmacy counter when she politely asked the woman to step aside.

Instead, the woman launched into racial insults, telling Hicks to “Go back to Mexico … It’s not your country … We don’t want you here.”

A shocked Hicks, who has lived in the United States for 30 years, recorded the incident on her cellphone and posted the video to Facebook. But the racist woman was not finished with her insults for the day. When a Black woman customer spoke up against the racist woman, calling her rude, the White woman goes in on her saying, “That’s none of your business right now; stay out of it.”

When the Black woman replies, “I don’t need to stay out of it. You are yelling loud enough for everyone to hear, stop being ignorant,” the racist woman states, “A n–a calling me ignorant?”

A store manager enters the scene and tells the woman that her behavior is inappropriate and later tells her to leave the store. Since the video was posted on Monday, Walmart has announced that they have banned the racist woman from its stores. An official statement from the company reads, “We value and respect everyone who visits our stores. We have no tolerance for the language or actions of this customer and are proud that our assistant manger responded appropriately by asking her to  leave the store.”
