“This Is Us”
If you’re not already obsessed, you will be. Starring Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia and Sterling K. Brown, the comedy-drama follows a unique ensemble whose paths cross and life stories intertwine in curious ways. Its take on the adoption of a Black baby into a White household, one character’s’ struggle to lose weight, and LGBT relationships is both refreshingly honest and provocative. While it may not be what you expect, it may be just what you need to get through a spell of late summer reruns.
