Owner Dina Marto recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of Twelve Music & Studios. To thank everyone, Marto held an anniversary party celebrating her five years of blood, sweat, and tears and countless hours and sleepless nights she continues to put into her business. As a woman in the entertainment industry, she has managed to win and keep winning.
Every year, creatives at Twelve Music & Studios work hard to create hit records they can hang on their “walls of hits” in the kitchen at the studio. This year’s hits going up on the wall include “Trap Trap Trap” (Rick Ross ft. Young Thug & Wale, “NOLA” (Kodie Shane), “Real Hitta” (Plies ft Kodak Black), “Pull Up” (Swift), “Made it From Nothing” (Meek Mill ft Teyana Taylor), “Cool Lil Thottie” (Blac Youngsta ft Ink), and “Powers That Be” (Rick Ross ft Nas).
At the event, Chubbie Baby (A&R, Epic Records) gave a moving speech about how hard it is for women to be respected in the music business and spoke about why he loves having an office space at Twelve. “This is a good place. I have my wife here, my daughter comes here; it’s a family place and I’m creative here and it feels good. I will always do what I can to support Dina,” he said.
The evening was amazing. There was a belly dancer, cocktails courtesy of Martell Spirits, Mediterranean prepared food catered by Healthy Bites by Rai, cake by Shots Bakery, an amazing performance by Dina’s new artist INK and great vibes in the room, overall. Issac Hayes lll, super producer Cheeze, Ashley and Aaron Reid, actor Jason Weaver, artist Roscoe Dash, and Bone Crusher were a few of the celebrities spotted. Check out the photo gallery, after the break.
