The All Star Giveback celebrated its 19th year of passing out turkeys and holiday meals to families in need in the metro Detroit Area. Tarence Wheeler has been at the helm of leading this selfless effort over the years and has gained some notable relationships along the way to make the give back a huge success. He’s garnered relationships with Comerica Bank, Ford Motor Company, BET Network and a host of community partners to make this Thanksgiving a happy one for thousands of families in the area.
Accompanied by celebrity guests which included former NBA athletes, Derrick Coleman, Gary Payton, Earl Cureton, music artists such as newly signed Roc Nation artist Neisha Neshae and Grammy Award-winning Artist Big Sean, as well as former Detroit Mayor Dave Bing, and a host of local newscasters as well as radio personalities, this year’s event proved to be one for the books.
