Fetty Wap was arrested on the morning of Aug. 8 for violating the terms of his bail by threatening someone while holding a firearm on a FaceTime call.

According to court documents the government received a video recording of the FaceTime call which occurred on Dec. 11, 2021. He pointed the gun at the individual on the call and said “I’ma kill you and everybody you with.” He continuously repeated that he was going to kill the individual.

The threat and the firearm put Fetty Wap in violation of the terms of his release on Nov. 5, 2021, for his role in allegedly possessing and conspiring to sell controlled substances.

In one of the conditions in his release order, it stated that he “must not possess a firearm, destructive device, or other weapon. Another condition mandated that he “not violate any federal, state, or local law.”

Fetty Wap was arrested on Oct. 28, 2021, in connection with a drug distribution conspiracy and pleaded not guilty. He was then indicted and charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances and arraigned on those charges the next day.
