Beyoncé shares photos from Michelle Obama’s birthday party
Beyoncé recently helped the first lady celebrate her 50th birthday and brought Jay Z and Blue Ivy along for the ride. The songstress, 32, performed at the White House Saturday for Michelle Obama and 400 guests. Bey was the entertainment for the night alongside Ledisi and John Legend, who crooned “Happy Birthday” to the FLOTUS. Other attendees included Beyoncé’s mother and sister as well as Paul McCartney, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Samuel L. Jackson, Al Roker, Mary J. Blige, Angela Bassett, Jennifer Hudson, Gayle King, Smokey Robinson and Gladys Knight.
Prior to rocking the stage reportedly till 4 a.m. for Michelle, Bey gave Blue a tour of the White House that included play time with the first fog Sunny and a look at the presidential Christmas tree. Blue wore a white dress and cat ears headband for her visit with the Obamas.
