Celebrity photographer Drexina Nelson has shot some of the most famous and beautiful celebrities in entertainment inside of her studio that bares her namesake. Thus, there is a certain synergy at play for Nelson to open up a beauty salon to get her celebrity subjects “all glammed up” and fancy before they traipse across the hall into her photography studio.
Shay Johnson and Dusse Cognac both stepped up and helped the statuesque Nelson open up the Drexina Nelson Salon with righteous authority on Saturday, Aug. 13 in Northwest ATL.
Nelson’s photography game is so tight that she has shot feature and cover spreads for the likes of Essence, US Weekly, In Touch, Today’s Black Women and a cornucopia of other publications and outlets.
