On Dec. 11, students at Bear Creek Middle School who have demonstrated good behavior were given a special treat to show them that the faculty and staff appreciated their efforts in supporting the schools anti-bullying initiative and for not participating in negative behavior.
Things kicked off when Atlanta’s Streetz 94.5’s personality Daminon “DA-DA” Lewis stopped by the celebration to thank the students for their job well done. It was at that point when DA-DA announced that he brought the students a surprise and introduced Domani Harris of “Family Hustle” and Mike Scott of the Atlanta Hawks. Students were thrilled as Domani and Mike shook hands, gave out hugs and took pictures with them.
Before leaving, Domani and Mike told a students they had a special gift of their own for the students and presented the school with a certificate on behalf of the Atlanta Hawks for their participation in the fight against bullying. He gave every student in attendance, tickets to the Hawks upcoming game against the New York Knicks in February.
