The National Black Arts Festival gala opened the festival in grand style at the InterContinental Hotel Buckhead with host Karyn Greer (11 Alive News anchor). Live performances were delivered by jazz vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater, trumpeter Theo Croker, Metropolitan Opera star Harolyn Blackwell, and spoken word impresario Toni Blackman.
In addition to amazing live entertainment, guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner, participated in silent and live auctions and danced in the grand ballroom. Check out more photos in the gallery. –joi pearson @joiapearson
