When you’re a reality TV couple, chances are your relationship won’t last for long. And even though Gloria Govan and Matt Barnes have been away from the reality TV scene for a couple of years, it seems like the divorce curse has finally hit their marriage.
According to TMZ, the former “Basketball Wives LA” couple separated about six weeks ago and sources claim that the root of the problem is trust issues.
Barnes and Govan famously called off their original wedding in 2010, with Govan later saying on “BBW LA” that both she and her husband needed to “sow their oats” before they got married. However, it seemed like trouble was brewing months ago when a photo of Govan kissing her bodyguard leaked online.
Another major sign that their marriage is in trouble is that Barnes hasn’t posted a photo of Govan in months, and Govan hasn’t been seen wearing her wedding ring since mid-August.
Sources say that Govan and Barnes are still living together but it’s likely that one of them will move out and the divorce process will begin.
