Chante Moore is back on the music scene and has been heating up the charts with new music. She has a new EP coming out soon, and recently released her newest single, “Fresh Love.” Rolling out spoke with Moore about her new single, which features the leading men in her life, and discussed how she continues to keep her love life fresh.

Let’s talk about your new single, “Fresh Love.” What does fresh love mean to you?

I think that keeping love new is a special thing. It takes effort and intentionality. It’s a beautiful thing to be in love, but to keep love new and to keep it fresh, that’s a whole new subject. I think it takes a special type of person to keep love new.

I love pleasing the man that I’m with and making sure that he’s happy. And with my children, I love keeping fresh love with them too by keeping our relationship going, making sure that our understanding stays level and that we’re connected heart-to-heart.

Are you currently making fresh love with someone special in your life now?

This love that I’m in now, it’s been wonderful! When he calls, it excites me, it makes me happy. My heart skips a beat and somehow, it does feel like it’s new. I love that he’s able to do that in my life and I’m able to do that in his.

How can we listen to “Fresh Love”?

It’s out now. You can go to YouTube, you can stream it and you can purchase it too. My son is in the video. He’s the taller of the two boys. And the other young man is actually my boyfriend’s son. The other guy in the video is my boyfriend, so if you want to know what he looks like, there you go.

You also have a new record coming out. What’s the title and when is it scheduled to drop?

It’s called “2 of 4.” I’m doing four EPs, and then making all of them one in the end. Things are delayed a bit as far as the timing is concerned. I wanted to put them all out in one year. It just didn’t work out like that, so at this moment, we don’t have a date set. But we do have a new single set to release soon, and it’s called “Hold It Down.” That’s going to come sooner than the entire EP will.

Is there anyone in the industry that you would like to work with in the future?

Drake, Pharrell Williams and Chris Brown. There’s also this artist that’s named Imogen Heap. I don’t know if you know who she is, but her harmonies are stratospheric and out of this world. Her sound is so unique and so different, and I would love to see what our work together would sound like.
