The words “yes” and “no” are very powerful. How can women use both words to help themselves excel in life?
I believe it’s [about] having the confidence and discernment when one needs to be applied over the other. Both words hold power, [but] it’s up to you to use the power correctly. It’s like a chess game; each player must anticipate the consequences or benefits of each move. That’s how I navigate the “yes” and “no.” When there is a no, I keep it moving until I discover a “yes.”
What do you want your legacy to be?
I want my legacy to empower and uplift underserved populations for women specifically women of color and minorities through knowledge and experience in music.
