Crystal Smith and NeYo are having another baby and they couldn’t be more ecstatic about the new addition. However, some social media users were not as thrilled as they immediately fired back at the couple to remind Smith about NeYo’s ex.
Trolls previously criticized the couple for celebrating their previous pregnancy after NeYo and his ex, Monyetta Shaw, agreed to have her tubes tied to prohibit them from having more children. In response to their latest celebratory video posted on Sunday, Feb. 21, the couple was faced with a barrage of critical remarks. One person wrote, “What about his first wife he convinced to sterilize herself then left her lmao?”
Smith quickly fired back to correct the person. She said, “I’m his first wife boo.”
In a separate comment, she added, “I’m being accurate since you want to be in something so bad. I respect the mother of his kids and facts are facts. He didn’t request nor make anyone do anything. She has moved on and is in love, happy as hell. You should try it. Simple-minded child.”
The new baby will be NeYo’s third child with Smith. Altogether, the singer-producer will have a total of five children, including the two from his previous relationship with Shaw.
