Immediately after the performance, prosecutors“filed a motion to hold Lanez in contempt for violating the restraining order that was issued in his ongoing criminal case. Prosecutors were asking the judge to either revoke his bail, which could have landed him in jail pending trial, or increase his bail. It seems like they got what they were seeking.
Lanez didn’t seem to be fazed by the court’s decision and even joked with the paparazzi as he left the courthouse. He also continued to live his best life like he’ll be vindicated once the case goes to trial and shared a video of him puffing on a cigar after the court proceedings.
