After being hospitalized last week for blood clots in both of her lungs, Tamar Braxton is out of the woods. On Thursday, Nov. 19, the R&B singer and “The Real” co-host called into the show to give the ladies and viewers an update on her health after leaving the hospital.

“I mean, I’m just so elated,” Braxton said. “And I just feel so blessed to come out of the hospital. Because, you know, the realization is that, you know, a lot of people don’t come out of the hospital with multiple PEs [pulmonary embolisms] like I had.” Braxton added that she feels “blessed beyond measure. — I’m just so excited that I was one of the few people who got a chance to come out of the hospital, come on!”

On Wednesday, Nov. 18, Braxton also shared a short clip via Instagram featuring herself leaving the hospital. “Look at GOD!! #so blessed,” she captioned the clip. “Thank you all for your prayers. I [love] you all so much.”

In case you missed it, after being rushed to the hospital during a taping of “Dancing With The Stars” on Nov. 9, the “Tamar & Vince” star announced two days later via Instagram that she was dropping out of the dance competition series.

We’re so happy to see Braxton is on the mend. Send her your well wishes below.
