“For instance, like the Lil Nas X performances and videos, man. I got a lot of respect for bro because he had the courage to live his truth but it just aint for me. I ain ‘t got no business looking at it… I don’t want my children seeing it either. I don’t want my children seeing it because their minds haven’t developed to the place where they can wrap their minds around those type of experiences and those type of visual presentations and know how to sort it out with their perception. But I feel the same way about [Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion] the “WAP” video,” the Atlanta rapper said.
Before ending his IG Live, T.I. also championed the right to freedom of speech.
“But if you gone have the “WAP” video, then you gone d— sure have the Lil Nas X video. And if you gone have the Lil Nas X and video and him living his truth, you gone d— sure have people like DaBaby who gone speak they truth. And it ain’t nothing wrong with none of it. I ain’t got to be no hate. It’s all honesty …,” T.I. said.
