Neyo brought his A game to Ravinia in Highland Park, IL on July 7. The R&B crooner attracted a diverse crowd of fans filling up the lawn seats and pavilion to witness his performance. Mario opened the show with a stellar performance. He did all of his hits starting from his self titled album that he released at 15 years-old.
The night started off with clear skies, however at one point it started to drizzle but that did not deter the fans who were out to have a good time.
Neyo hit the stage with his dancers moving effortlessly through a series of dance routines and songs that have helped to create who he is as an artist. Neyo doesn’t try and cover his Micheal Jackson influence. A few spins and poses he demonstrates on stage clearly come from the world of the King of Pop and Neyo proudly pays him homage.
Based on the amount of hits Neyo has and his stellar songwriting it is not a surprise that he has had such longevity in the music industry. His fans were at a fever pitch from the start to the end of his show and he deserved it.
