One of the year’s most anticipated projects is finally here: Detroit spitter Supakaine’s EP, Scholastica Park. This follow-up to 2015’s Ghetto America is Supakaine’s most personal project to date. In addition, he’s already released a slew of singles to accompany the album (“Incense”, “What A Feeling”, “Bridges” and “Black And Blue”).
Natural-flowing bars and smooth production (Young RJ, Icepic, DaG) are the fruits of Supakaine’s hard labor on Scholastica Park. Songs such as “Incense”, “A Sister Joint,” and “Switched Up” introduce you to the world of Supakaine, and all that encompasses it. It’s rare for artists of today to showcase storytelling in their music, but Supakaine paints colorful images with his words serving as the paintbrush on Scholastica Park.
