Megan Thee Stallion headlined this week of new releases with her new album, Traumazine.
The project comes on the heels of a turbulent couple of years after the alleged situation of Tory Lanez shooting her in the foot. The album sounds like a frustrated artist took all of her emotions into a studio and let the world hear it through hard-hitting 808s. The album features Future, Rico Nasty, Key Glock , Latto, Jhene Aiko, Lucky Daye, Sauce Walka and Dua Lipa among others.
The Game also released the star-studded Drillmatic: Heart vs. Mind. The album features Ye, Lil Wayne, Nipsey Hussle, Meek Mill, Blueface, Cam’Ron, A$AP Rocky, Roddy Ricch, Big Sean, G Herbo, Moneybagg Yo, NBA Youngboy and Blxst. Drillmatic also includes a 10-minute diss to Eminem in a song titled “The Black Slim Shady,” where he airs out his grievances to the Detroit rapper and Dr. Dre while mocking some of Eminem‘s most iconic flows and voices.
Rod Wave released Beautiful Mind, which features Jack Harlow and a skit from Druski.
