Clark Atlanta University recently celebrated Homecoming, and as part of those festivities, shined a spotlight on their second annual 40 Under 40 Young Alumni Achievement Awards.
The awards recognize individuals who attended Clark Atlanta, were under 40 as of Oct. 1, and are contributing to advancement in various areas. The selected alums represent rising entrepreneurs, influencers, creators, professionals, and executives shaping culture, leading in their communities, excelling in their fields, and trying to lay the foundation for a better future.
Here’s a sampling of the kinds of men and women to whom Clark Atlanta sought to draw attention:
- Those who earned an undergraduate or graduate degree from Clark Atlanta
- Those who represent Clark Atlanta’s core values
- Those committed to maintaining a lifelong relationship with the university and have contributed to CAU (time, talent, or treasure) within a calendar year through July 31, 2023
- Those who have significantly contributed to their respective professional disciplines, communities, and Clark Atlanta
